Out Of Character/General

• One account per email.
  
• One character per account.
  
• Your name MUST be the name of your character.
  
• Respect your fellow members.

  (meaning no chat speak what so ever!)
  
• One picture per signature that cannot exceed 400x200 pixels.
  
• Four months is a year.
  (Each month is a different season.)
  
• Do not use celebrity names. I don’t care how famous they are!
  (be original or use your own name)
  
• If you use a celebrities face for your character, post in face claims.
  
• Use the form in the joining board
  
• Wait until you are accepted before posting elsewhere besides OOC topics.
  

In Character/Posting

• Please don’t put an OOC post in every post you make.
  (If you have a question to ask the other player about the topic, that fine, but not about randomness!)
  
• Write in complete sentences!
  
• Cussing (vile language) is allowed, but please don’t go overboard.
  (1-3 per post is the maximum with an exception of a few, but it will get the point through, more than that is not necessary.)
  
• There is a Spell Check so there is no excuse for horrible spelling!
  (look below where you click Post Message , beside it is Preview, beside Preview is Spell Check. Click that, it pops up in a new window and tells you what you spelled wrong and then it shows orange in the orange message when its finished, go to the original window and the spell check window automatically closes and changes the words for you).
  
• Don’t have your characters in more than five topics at a time.
  
• RP in either third or first person. Second is too confusing. And don’t use both types in the same topic!
  (First is where you use I and me. Third is where you use he, she, and their name.)
  
• You do not rule this site, you are not a god. So no power playing or god modeling.
  (where you control what another members character does, you control your own and that’s it.)
  
• Pets are allowed, but they aren’t to be role-played, it’s your characters view of them and what your character thinks about they are doing. Etc…
  (Ex: Bob looked around and began playing with his lab Shadow, who wagged his tail at the attention he received. Bob laughed heartily but gasped and quickly drew his hand back as the black dog turned savage and attempted to bite him.)
  (Horrible, I know, but I don’t care, it’s just to give you an idea about how pets should be portrayed)
  

Obtaining Horses

• You are allowed one horse at the beginning of the game after you have created your character. (this doesn’t apply to the cannons)
  
• Then it goes by posting whether or not you can obtain another horse or not. (this doesn’t apply to breeding your mare)
  (0-99 posts: 1 self created horse is allowed, 100-199 posts: 2 self created horses are allowed, 200-299 posts: 3 self created horses are allowed, and so on.)
  
• You choose the stats of the self created horses.
  
• There is no limit to how many horses each character may own.
  
• You can breed them. I or a mod will make the foal stats. (post them in OOC)
  
• The mare must carry the foal for at least a week.
  
• The foal is automatically property of the mare’s owner.
  
• You cannot ride a horse until it is at least 3+ years old.
  
• Check the sales barns, some players may choose to sell thier horses.
  
• Your character must either board their horse at Heartland or Green Briar. (Heartland is where they train and treat horses with remedies and without force, at Green Briar they believe in force and firm discipline and producing push button horses)
  
• Most of you probably won't like Green Briar if you have read the books and such, BUT THEY NEED BOARDERS TOO AND ARE BIGGER THAN HEARTLAND WITH MORE MONEY AND SPACE, SO YES, I WILL BE TELLING YOU WHERE TO BOARD AT WHEN I ACCEPT YOUR CHARACTER! I don't want you all flocking to Heartland, I'm trying to make this as close to the book as possible.
  

Show Points

• You will notice, in your stats under your name beside your posts, it says Show Points, a point will be given to you each time you win a show.
  
• Shows are based on your posting ability.
  
• You are only given a point if you get first prize.
  
• Any staff member can create a show, but whoever creates it cannot compete in the show and they have to judge it themselves.
