Healing Horses, Healing Hearts...

Heartland is a horse farm nestled in the hills of Virginia, but it’s much more than that. Heartland is like no other place – it’s a place where the scars of the past can be healed, a place where frightened and abused horses learn to trust again.

November 12, 2009::All Members & Guests Please take note Scars of the Past is going to be re-opening soon. I am shooting for the first of December, but I do not know. A mass e-mail and personal message will be sent out to all existing account. Everyone is welcome back. Once we open an activity check will also be held. Anyone not replying to this is subject to deletion and character put back up for adoption if Cannon Character.

Affiliate Banner & Rules

Have our banner up BEFORE you post here. It is so annoying when you get requests and your banner isn’t even on their page.
Want your banner static? (Meaning not moving). Then our banner better me static on yours and on the home page or your going in the scroll. Only fair. And there cant be TONS of other static affiliates.
Only 88x31 pixel banners.
If your not going to be dedicated to your site and keep it running, don’t apply. I don’t want dead sites for affiliates, that does neither of us any good.
Reply here with your banner image example and the code and a link to your site.

Chapter One: The Beginning

It's been almost a year since Melanie and Wanderer have began letting the information leak to the rebels humans. The information on how to seperate the soul from the human host. Groups of rebels have been sprouting up faster than ever, always in hiding.

The plot focuses on a group of rebels lead by a human girl named Cassie. They are hidden deep in the Rocky Mountains, mostly occupying abandoned mine shafts but also inhabit more natural caves. In the wilderness, there are humans that have been deemed 'runners'. These humans have not joined the rebels for whatever reasons- maybe they don't know about them, or they could just not want to join them.

Meanwhile, in a city only a few miles away, a soul city thrives. Rebellion has just began to shift this part of the country and the new mountain rebels are determined to fight. The city is mostly controlled by, Fire Wielder, a powerful Seeker. So far, the Rebels have managed to stay undectected.

But how long will it last?
